Terms
For this website, and for the software
Last updated: July 2026
1. The hosted service has ended
SimplyPrintSync was previously offered by Klappe Development as a paid, hosted Shopify app with monthly subscription plans. That service has been discontinued. There are no active subscriptions, no billing, and no service level commitments.
The previous terms of service, which covered subscription plans, payment terms, SEPA direct debit and cancellation, no longer apply because there is no longer a paid service to which they could apply.
2. The software is open source
The software is published as Shopify2SimplyPrint under the GNU General Public License, version 3.
Your rights to use, modify and redistribute the software come from that licence and from nothing on this page. If anything here appears to conflict with the GPL, the GPL wins.
3. No warranty
As set out in sections 15 and 16 of the GPLv3, the software is provided as is, without warranty of any kind. You run it on your own infrastructure and you are responsible for operating it, including for anything it does to your Shopify store, your inventory or your print queue.
Neither Klappe Development nor any contributor is liable for damages arising from use of the software, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
4. You are the operator
Because the software is self-hosted, you are the operator and the data controller. You are responsible for your own Cloudflare account and costs, for keeping your credentials secure, for complying with the Shopify and SimplyPrint terms and API conditions, and for any obligations you have to your own customers, including under the GDPR.
5. This website
This site is provided for information. It is static, carries no tracking, and offers no account or paid service. Content may change or be removed at any time. See the privacy policy for what it does and does not collect.
6. Trademarks
Shopify2SimplyPrint is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to SimplyPrint or Shopify. “SimplyPrint” and “Shopify” are trademarks of their respective owners and are used here only to describe what the software interoperates with.
7. Support
There is no commercial support. Questions, bug reports and feature requests belong in GitHub issues, where anyone running the software can see and contribute to the answer.
8. Governing law
To the extent these website terms are governed by any law, that law is Dutch law, with disputes submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam. This does not restrict the GPLv3, which governs the software itself.
